Our band is about to host the 50th Annual Chittlin' Supper, a fundraiser that provides the greatest majority of our operating costs. We need help in publicizing the event and would appreciate any help you could provide us in that endeavour. If you need any information in addition to what is posted below, please feel free to contact us. On March 27, 2009 the Meek High School Band will be hosting the 50th Annual Chittlin’ Supper at Meek High School. Plates will be served from 5:00 pm and until 9:00 pm. Dinner will consist of fried chittlins or grilled chicken along with slaw or potato salad, cornbread and a drink. Also, anniversary cake will be served to help celebrate this milestone in chittlin’ history. Plates are $8.00 each if purchased at the door, or $7.00 each if purchased in advance. Local artists are set to provide entertainment throughout the evening. We invite you to join us for an evening of good, old-fashioned country fun.
