According to The Mirror McLeish has already had a bid of £1 million plus Gary McSheffrey a former Coventry player turned down. While Coventry are keen to take McSheffrey back they are unwilling to accept anything but the £4m asking price for their 22-year-old. McLeish has already released Radhi Jaidi and is looking to bolster his defence in an attempt to avoid relegation from the Premier League next season. Co-owner David Sullivan has said he has been working on “ten or 15 other deals” further to the Benitez transfer and it appears Dann is one of the many targets the Blues have identified.
