Looking for YoghurtBirmingham RepDirected by Peter Wynne-WillsonUntil Sat 30 May Box office: 0121-236 4455 Norang is a young Korean girl who has lost a cat called Yoghurt. Ignoring the warning signs she strays on to a construction site where she encounters two new friends: English-speaking Blue who has built a command centre out of plastic crates; and Aka a would-be Japanese superhero intent on saving the world with a coat hanger. Whether it’s a good idea to encourage children to play on building sites is a moot point in any language but despite the lack of a common tongue the trio set to work with an earth-mover to dig a hole to Brazil. The cat ends up out of reach and as the children build a precarious tower to rescue it you wonder if it might not be quicker to give the British Japanese and Korean fire services a call.

What especially pleased the young centre-back was the fact that the Villans hung on to the win despite a desperate Toon team throwing on four strikers in a doomed bid to stave off relegation”It was pleasing especially with the standard of strikers they hadon. [bafemi] Martins and [Mark] Viduka are a handful on their own and to throw onMichael wen with half an hour left and then Shola Ameobi I think theyended up with four or five up front” he told the club’s official website. “But to be fair I think me and Carlos [Cuellar] did quite wellaerially and managed to kill most of the threat when they were tryingto knock the long balls. ” Unfortunately for the West Midlanders the victory was not enough to overhaul Everton and finish fifth and Davies maintains that their own situation was the only thing on their minds on a tension-filled final Sunday of the season not their opponents’ predicament.
