Time for Arsenal to absolve Birmingham City star of any Eduardo blame

A wound which is still causing pain to Martin Taylor. At the time Arsene Wenger called for Taylor to be banned for life for his late tackle on Eduardo and although the Arsenal boss quickly retracted his comments an apology for his gross over-reaction has not been forthcoming. Eduardo meanwhile still doubts Taylor’s remorse despite Birmingham’s gentle giant – a victim of intimidation by Croatian journalists and death threats from cowards – going out of his way to check on his rival’s welfare in the dressing rooms his hospital bed and ever since. If the metal plate and screws in Eduardo’s leg have brought the Brazil-born forward physical closure and his goalscoring return has enabled him psychological closure then surely the time has come for Arsenal to give Taylor some emotional closure too by finally absolving him of blame.
