Loganair announces Dundee to Birmingham schedule
Easier – Easier (press release) – Mar 12, 2008
The new route which will be introduced on May 21 2008 is expected to bring a welcome boost for the region while marking the beginning of an expansion drive that will see Loganair introduce more and new services from Dundee airport in the coming years. Loganair will operate three return flights from Dundee to Birmingham each weekday ? flying in the morning mid-afternoon and evening ? as well as a return evening flight on Sunday. Details of these flights follow an announcement by the airline in January that it is to create a new base at Dundee Airport as part of a franchise agreement with Flybe. The move follows a period of significant planning and is a direct response to customer demands following the high-profile suspension of FlyWhoosh flights from the city in December last year.
