You got forget what other people say and just focus on what you want to do. ” Birmingham is a strong candidate to again play in December’s City title game but the road to the postseason won’t be an easy task especially for the offense. The Patriots return most of their starters on defense despite the graduation of defensive backs Willie Chandler and Dominic Baker. The offense took a hit this summer when starting quarterback Exavier Johnson a transfer from rival Taft of Woodland Hills this offseason broke his hand. Johnson is expected to miss at least the first four games of the season. In addition the Patriots bring in a revamped offensive line.
