Its parent company Colorado-based Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc. said the move is part of its first-ever franchise roll-out which will occur in seven states throughout the Southeast including Alabama. Paul Carolan senior vice president of franchising and licensing of Einstein Noah said that the exact number of locations Birmingham would get will depend on available real estate and the number of selected franchisees who are required to open a minimum of five locations. He said recently an agreement had been signed to develop 21 locations in Northern Florida from Jacksonville west through the Panhandle.
